You can enjoy your drinks by the fresh water swimming pool, relax or exercise in the nearby sports centre, while your children have fun in the kid's pool under the supervision of our experienced staff.

Satisfying every need the hotel's restaurant, and 3 bars offer a wide variety of drinks and traditional Greek and international cuisine
Special events are also organized. The hotel tavern "Sirens" is well known for its high standards and inventive modern cuisine.

Accommodation:
Makryammos offers 196 bungalow-style rooms and 10 water-front suites. All rooms with bathroom, terrace and direct dial phone.
Each bungalow belongs to a 5 or 6 bungalow unit built with stone in the traditional style of Thassos blending with the environment.
All bungalows are ground level, set in elegantly landscaped gardens around the famous Makryammos bay.

Room Types:
Bungalow with twin beds (or one double bed) and possibility for an extra bed. Can accommodate up to 3 adults.

Bungalow with twin beds (or one double bed) and a bunk bed. Suitable for up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Family bungalow: two separate bungalows with a common entrance, each with its own bathroom and terrace. Suitable for 2 adults and 2 children.

Water-front Suites located directly above the sea-front, with a spacious bedroom and a living room, large veranda , bathroom, hair dryer , air-conditioning, TV and fridge. Can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children.

Activities:
Special care is given to children with a mini club, small zoo, children's pool and play ground available. Our multilingual professionally trained staff will make sure your children will spend active and enjoyable days. Parents need not worry as our secluded grounds, and shallow sea waters offer necessary safety for peaceful kids holidays. Makryammos has been recognized by many leading tourist organizations as a children friendly hotel.

For those seeking exercise, physical activity and entertainment to enrich their holiday there is a daily animation program in three languages with morning, afternoon and evening activities, live music, shows, Greek nights and beach parties.

At Makryammos we have created the "Alternative Holiday Workshop" where experienced tutors teach body control (Pilates method), ha-tha Yoga, Shiatsu, Tai-Chi, stretching, painting, ceramics, greek cooking and greek language lessons during the summer. Various cultural and folklore events and exhibitions are also organized.
