Around seventy steps lead down from the main alley of Oia to reach Casa Sofia. This cave house has been restored in the traditional style. Tastefully furnished, but also with the modern comforts of equipped kitchen and bathroom. Neutral colours have been used to decorate the bedroom and living room. From the terrace you will enjoy breath taking views over the caldera, volcanic islets and over the picturesque village of Oia. |

| The main house comprises of a cave bedroom with one big double bed, a separate living room with two sofa-beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom and two verandas with perfect view over the caldera, to the volcano and to the traditional village of Oia, across to the Aegean Sea. | |

Casa Sofia is only a short walk to a selection of cosy restaurants, traditional taverns, trendy cafe/bars, smart shops/galleries, the maritime museum and the local market of Oia. The small fishing port of Amoudi with its popular seafood taverns can be accessed by foot from the house. |
