How to get there:
By Hydrofoil and Ferry-boats From
Piraeus (35 N.M), Spetses, Poro, Nafplio, and Peloponese via
Transfer from Athens/Piraeus or Zea
ports to Hydra Island Greece is made by a regular hydrofoil service.
If you would prefer a more leisurely
transfer from Athens to Hydra you can take a ferry from Piraeus.
The crossing takes about 3.5 hours.
In summer, there are frequent connections with Piraeus, as well as worthwhile day-excursions to the islands of: Poros, Aegina, Spetses and to the harbors of Ermioni, Nafplio and Porto Heli.
